Chrysler Sebring Problems

The current generation Chrysler Sebring is offered in four trim versions, namely the soft top convertible, sedan, Limited and Touring. All the models are equipped with the standard features like front side impact air bags, power accessories, full length head curtain air bags, power vinyl top, 6 -CD changer and tilt steering wheel. Despite all its goodness, there are certain Chrysler Sebring problems reported, mainly with the old versions.

Engine

The standard engine to all the Sebring models is a 2.4 liter I-4 that delivers power up to 173 hp. It also offers 2.7 liter V6 engine that produces 189 hp as optional. Features

With the I-4 engine, the Chrysler Sebring model can achieve fuel economy of 20 miles per gallon in the city premises and 29 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The safety features offered as standard in the Chrysler Sebring model include traction control, curtain side air bags, front side air bags, electronic stability program, antilock braking system and four wheel antilock disc brakes. Though the model is dressed with most advanced features, there are certain problems reported with the engine, transmission and with the electrical devices.
